Church is all about connection. It is sometimes said that the Kingdom of God moves at the speed of relationships. Small groups are a chance to spend intentional time with one another to build stronger friendships as we walk through life.

Jesus 12 disciples did everything with him. Many of the parables or stories we have from the gospel come from times when Jesus was with a few. This gives everyone a chance to ask questions or wrestle out loud with how to live out ones faith well in context of daily life. It's good and necessary to do this in order to grow in our faith.

Jesus served on several occasions. There was not an expectation of anything in return. We are called to serve each other and our community. What better way than with a group of friends that you know well. There will be several opportunities to bless and serve our community that will not take more than an hour, maybe two.
